History, heritage and high-flying snooker – the Riley story

For many lovers of the sport, the name Riley is virtually synonymous with snooker. And with good reason. The company has participated in the game almost since the beginning, having been involved in the manufacturing of snooker tables, billiards tables and cues for decades. Proud of its heritage, yet very much focussed on the future, Riley is always looking for ways to improve its products. Its client-centred approach can be seen in its ‘visualiser’ tool, a handy little feature that allows you, on certain table models, to select your wood finish, pockets and trim! Perhaps the real proof of the pudding when talking about the sheer quality of the Riley product can be found in the roll call of some of its customers, past and present. Players of the calibre of John Higgins, Ken Doherty, Mark Selby and Jimmy White have all played on Riley tables. In fact, the crème de la crème of snooker tables, the Riley Aristocrat Tournament Champion, has seen more than its fair share of the limelight. It was upon the Aristocrat that eight different World Champions won their titles, from Stephen Hendry to Ronnie O’Sullivan. Now that’s definitely a past record to be proud of!
